Garnet is the birthstone of January and the zodiac sign Capricorn. While garnet is usually seen as a red-colored stone, it can come in many different colors! These stones are said to have been used to embellish Egypt’s pharaohs and they were carved by Romans to be used to stamp wax seals.

Amethyst is a beautiful purple stone that represents the birth month of February and the zodiac sign Aquarius. Ranging from lilac to a deep purple, the stone is said to be associated with the Greek god Dionysus due to it’s wine-like color.
